My memoirs recalling my childhood in Shropshire, my schooldays in Hong Kong in the late 20's and early 30's, journeys by ocean liner, pre-war England, my life in the A.T.S. during the war, post-war and my marriage and life in Ceylon. All indeed a "vanished world".
